Family Chiropractic

Your nervous system is the communication network that helps coordinate and regulate every function in your body. Throughout life, physical strain, emotional stress, and environmental factors can place added demands on this system, affecting how well it functions.

When the spine loses its proper alignment or movement, it can create areas of tension and imbalance known as subluxations. These changes may interfere with the body's ability to communicate efficiently between the brain and the rest of the body. Gentle chiropractic adjustments are designed to help restore healthy spinal motion and reduce nervous system stress, supporting better communication throughout the body.

By improving spinal function and easing tension on the nervous system, chiropractic care can help your body adapt more effectively to everyday stress and support your overall health and well-being.

Pediatric Chiropractic

As babies grow and develop, they reach important milestones that help build the foundation for healthy movement, learning, and overall development. Each milestone supports the growth of new connections within the nervous system, helping the brain and body work together effectively.

When developmental milestones are delayed or missed, it may be a sign that the nervous system needs additional support. In some cases, challenges during pregnancy, birth, or early infancy can place stress on a baby's developing nervous system, making it more difficult to progress through these stages as smoothly as expected.

By supporting healthy nervous system function, chiropractic care may help children better adapt to life's early challenges and promote optimal growth, development, and well-being.

How Chiropractic Care Helps

Pediatric chiropractic care at Pebble Lake Chiropractic is gentle, safe, and tailored to the unique needs of infants and children. By supporting healthy nervous system function, chiropractic adjustments can help the brain and body communicate more effectively, allowing children to function at their best.

Dr. Nathalie is certified in pediatric chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is experienced in evaluating developmental patterns, identifying areas where additional support may be beneficial, and helping families navigate their child’s developmental journey with confidence. The first step is addressing areas of stress and tension within the nervous system through gentle chiropractic adjustments.

Care During Pregnancy

At Pebble Lake Chiropractic, we recommend that our pregnant patients receive regular chiropractic care throughout their pregnancy, typically once or twice per month, with more frequent visits when additional support is needed, such as in cases of breech positioning.

Pregnancy chiropractic care is gentle, safe, and focused on supporting proper pelvic balance and alignment to create an optimal environment for both mom and baby. Using techniques such as the Webster Technique, we help reduce tension, improve pelvic function, and support the muscles and ligaments surrounding the pelvis. This can promote greater comfort during pregnancy while allowing baby the freedom to move and develop naturally.

Dr. Paul is here to support you throughout every stage of your pregnancy, offering guidance on posture, ergonomics, sleep positioning, and other lifestyle factors that can contribute to a more comfortable pregnancy experience. She works closely with midwives, doulas, and other members of your birth team, and considers herself a partner in your journey, providing support, education, and encouragement every step of the way.
